Avon woman facing serious charges

An Avon woman is facing multiple serious charges after threatening her ex-boyfriend and fleeing police officers. The woman allegedly slashed her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend’s car tires and spray painted her car. The defendant then went to her ex-boyfriend’s cousin’s house where she met up with her ex-boyfriend. She then allegedly banged on the cousin’s door with a kitchen knife and threatened to kill her ex-boyfriend. When police arrived, she fled on foot and got in a vehicle and drove away. A chase ensued and she was later found in the drive through of a Burger King on Clearwater Road. During the arrest process she rammed the cop car in front of her multiple times. She is now being held in the Stearns County jail where she is facing felony charges of second-degree assault with dangerous weapon, fleeing police in a motor vehicle, and felony threats of violence.
